Support

When a chiller slows down, the whole line feels it. Raynen support covers installation, repairs, maintenance and temporary cooling for lasers, moulds and process lines across South Africa.

Fast help when cooling drops out

Our support team works from Alrode, Alberton and helps customers in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town and Rustenburg, plus surrounding industrial areas. If a laser, mould tool or process line is running warm, we look at the full system not just the symptom. That means water flow, refrigerant condition, pump performance, control settings and heat exchange all get checked properly.

Loads on production can change quickly, especially during summer heat and load-shedding starts or restarts. We plan support around real plant conditions, so your cooling stays steady when the line is under pressure.

Service options built around plant uptime

Different sites need different levels of support. Some need a new chiller installed and commissioned, while others only need a proper service visit and a few worn parts replaced. Raynen handles both small and larger industrial systems, including units for moulding, laser equipment and continuous process lines.

  • Chiller installation and system commissioning
  • Preventative maintenance and cooling audits
  • Breakdown repairs and refrigeration repairs
  • Pump replacements and temporary cooling
  • Pipework retrofits and control panel upgrades

Maintenance that suits South African conditions

Industrial water chillers in South Africa deal with dust, hard water, coastal humidity and power interruptions. Left alone, those conditions can shorten equipment life and push running costs up. Our preventative maintenance checks focus on the parts that usually fail first, such as strainers, pumps, refrigerant circuits, contactors and controls.

We also look at water treatment and pipework condition, because scale and corrosion can build up slowly and then cause a costly blockage. A small issue caught early is cheaper than a shutdown later on, and that is especially true on lines that run long shifts.

Workshop and field support across key industrial nodes

Support is coordinated through our Alberton depot and service coverage in Germiston, Boksburg, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town and Rustenburg. That gives customers a practical route for service work, site attendance and planned support across major industrial centres. Lerato Mokoena manages operations, while Sibusiso Dlamini and the service team handle field work and fault finding.

For larger or time-sensitive jobs, Anika Naidoo coordinates projects, Pieter Joubert assists with technical sales and system sizing, Nomsa Khumalo keeps customer queries moving, and Thabo Maseko oversees workshop repairs and testing.

Temporary cooling and emergency backup

When a chiller fails, waiting for a full repair is not always possible. Temporary cooling can keep production moving while the main unit is assessed, repaired or replaced. This is especially useful on laser systems and moulding lines where temperature drift can ruin product quality in a short time.

  • Short-term cooling for breakdown situations
  • Back-up support during major repairs
  • Planned cover during shutdowns or upgrades
  • Reduced risk of scrap and process interruption

We work to keep the plant stable and get the main system back in service as soon as practical.

Clear communication from enquiry to handover

Clients usually reach us through the enquiry form on our contact page, and from there we gather the details needed to respond properly. We ask what equipment is in use, what symptoms you are seeing, where the site is located and whether the issue is affecting one machine or the full line. That helps us decide if the fix is on-site, in the workshop, or through a scheduled visit.

Raynen has been serving industrial customers since 2008 under the direction of MD Riaan van der Merwe. The focus is simple: get the cooling right, keep the system reliable and make the support process easy to manage.
