How to book a service visit
Use the enquiry form on our contact page and tell us what needs attention, where the unit is located, and how the chiller is behaving. The more detail you give, the quicker we can match the job to the right technician and parts.
For planned maintenance, include your preferred date, site access times and whether the chiller is tied into a production line, laser machine or moulding cell. If the unit is still running, mention any alarms, temperature drift or unusual noise so we can prepare properly.
- Site name and suburb, for example Alrode, Germiston, Boksburg or Pretoria West
- Chiller make and model if available
- Problem description, such as low cooling, trips, leaks or high discharge pressure
- Any shutdown window or after-hours access requirements
What we need from your team on the day
When we arrive, please have a responsible contact person on site who knows the equipment and can authorise access. If the chiller is part of a wider process line, let us know which machines must stay live and which can be isolated. That helps avoid unnecessary stoppages.
We also recommend clearing the area around the unit before the visit. A clean approach makes it easier to check piping, pumps, filters and electrical panels, especially in busy factories where floor space is tight.
- Clear access to the chiller, pumps and control panel
- Safe access to isolators, water valves and drain points
- Basic site induction if required by your safety rules
- Any previous service records or fault notes
Planned maintenance for better uptime
Preventative maintenance is the best way to keep water temperatures steady and protect equipment life. In South African conditions, dust, heat and load-shedding can put extra strain on cooling systems, and coastal humidity can affect electrical components and pipework.
Our planned service visits can include inspection of refrigerant circuits, pump condition, flow rates, strainers, water quality, controllers and general operating performance. We also check for signs of scale, corrosion and blocked heat transfer surfaces. Small issues caught early cost less than a full breakdown later.
- Filter cleaning and strainer checks
- Water treatment checks for scale and corrosion risk
- Pump, fan and compressor condition checks
- Set-point verification and alarm review
Breakdowns, repairs and temporary cooling
If your chiller has stopped or is struggling to hold temperature, book a service visit as soon as possible. We handle breakdown repairs, refrigeration repairs, pump replacements and control panel upgrades for industrial cooling systems used on lasers, moulds and process lines.
Where a repair needs longer downtime, temporary cooling may be arranged to keep production moving while the main system is sorted out. This is often useful for factories running tight schedules, or where a missed day means lost output and scrap.
- Temperature alarms and unstable process cooling
- Tripping, no-flow faults or low pressure issues
- Leaking pipework or failed pumps
- Short-term support while repairs are completed
Site work across our support regions
We service and support industrial water chillers from Alrode, Alberton and surrounding Ekurhuleni areas, with regular work in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town and Rustenburg. We also attend industrial sites in Germiston and Boksburg. If your plant is outside those centres, send the details and we will confirm availability.
Different sites need different planning. A moulding plant in Gauteng may need early morning access to avoid peak production, while a coastal site may need extra attention to moisture and salt exposure. We plan the job around the site, not the other way round.
- Alberton Depot and surrounding industrial areas
- Johannesburg Service and Germiston Service
- Pretoria Service and Boksburg Service
- Durban Service, Cape Town Service and Rustenburg Service
After the visit and next steps
Once the work is complete, we will explain what was found, what was repaired and what should be watched before the next service. If there are repeat issues, we can suggest water treatment checks, pipework retrofits, operator training or a cooling audit to improve overall performance.
Our aim is simple: steady temperatures, fewer stoppages and longer equipment life. If your chiller needs attention now or you want to plan the next service window, send through the enquiry form and we will take it from there.
